Corn Exchange, Hitchin

This place was really looking up towards the summer, it was packed every weekend and the atmosphere was electric. Sadly around midsummer something went terribly wrong and the pub really went downhill, I mean you weren�t even allowed to wear sandals in the middle of summer!!
I have been a regular visitor and the last 6 months has seen a rapid decline. Each weekend gets less and less people in, its one of those buildings that needs to be at least half full or it feels empty, the door staff have a bad attitude & the toilets are like something out of a horror film! I would recommend avoiding if you can. Try The Ivory on Brand Street, much better in my opinion - that�s when you can get near the bar, it�s always packed!
