Humble Plum, Bitterne

As a regular visitor to the plum both with and without my grandchildren I have found the pub and its staff to be nothing but polite and courteous. The children are always made to feel welcome and quite frankly I'm more than happy that children have to leave at a certain time. The Assistant Manager has always made us feel very welcome and with reference to a previous review I would suggest that the gentleman in question who made the comment that the Assistant Manager was "always chatting" to others in the bar would simply be professional etiquette. I for one and certainly a lot of locals are more than satisfied with service given, The fact the pub is always full and cheerful speaks for itself.
