The Red Lion Hotel, Hope

i am not surprised to receive a message from the Landlord.Believe me I have been around the block a few times and eaten in many pubs..the Oldhall pub at hope must be the worst to date.I know derbyshire is in a time warp but the meal we had that place was unfit for human consumption.I will add that ALL the members of our party reported STALE bread..and a long ..aftertaste from the chips..if that is what they were..they tasted as if cooked in engine oil.I say good luck to you..but I wont be wasting my money at your establishment anytime soon..thank you

The Old Hall Inn, Hope

I had lunch at this pub today.
I was served..reheated chips..from last week... and stale baguette.The standard of food on a scale of 1 to 10 is ZERO.
The food left an aftertaste.I would recommend that this pub is 100% AVOIDED.There is a SPAR shop next door..a Mars bar would be better...
