The Marble Hill, St Margarets

We had my girlfriend�s birthday party here last weekend and were extremely impressed by the organisation of the staff and management. The venue was very smart and ideal for a party with a live band. There was enough space for people to dance or sit and have a drink with friends, there was also a quiet courtyard at the rear of the venue to sit and take a break from the dancing. The canap�s and cupcakes went down a storm and enjoyed by everyone.

From the initially meeting through to the friendliness on the night I could not recommend this venue enough.

The Albany, Twickenham

Must say I have never eaten here so cannot comment on the food...but the d�cor is really good and it has an open and airy feel to it. When we went it was a quiet afternoon so the staff served us our drinks at the table, which was great...

Nice atmosphere and great service...however the prices are a little on the steep side even for twickers.

The Agar Arms, Warthill

I remember years ago when I was a kid we used to go here with my folks as they used to have an amazing steak menu and it was dirt cheap for massive portions.. you used to have to get there 15 mins before it open to get a table in the old days�so on a return visit to home I made my folks take me there.,,and I was not disappointed.

The deco is essentially the same (cozy bar and fire at the front with a more modern extension on the back) and the menu has not changed that much, which was great. Good generous portions and home made chips, which are fantastic worth the drive there for the chips alone�.

The Beer�I now live in London so as you can imagine paying �1.26 a pint is always good. Admittedly it is a Sam Smith pub (we were drinking Old Brewery), which I thought, was good, however I am such drinking flat beer in London so it tasted great to me�
