The Hurtwood Inn, Peaslake

Had birthday celebration meal here with a party of more than 20. The staff were friendly and weren�t phased by an extra person turning up at the last moment. Food was great, and though not cheap was a reasonable price considering the quality. Beer was also very enjoyable � I�d recommend Shere Drop or T.E.A. in particular. And Peaslake also deserves a mention for being an appealing little village in the midst of the Surrey hills, from which you can do an excellent circular walk through Hurt Wood to Pitch Hill and back in about an hour and a half.
