Think you lot need to put your glasses back on and actually go into the pub, rather than sitting at your computers.
After visiting the pub after 5years on friday night i have to say what a nice pub this is. Safe and friendly. And the food is good too. The new management team are on focus to change the old image. (probably the one you lot cant move on from). Ok they cant change the interior of the pub thats not something that they can do. As we all know how big companies work. However it does look like they have got a new carpet so its a step forward. And with events like meet the brewer which i haven't seen done in a long time, being offered every week, and a live band coming in. Its surely stepping in the right direction.
I had a long chat with one of the managers and he was very enthusiastic about the ales and how he has got all new cellar equipment to improve them.
Overall such a lovely visit, so i will be visiting this pub again when i am next down, oh and yes this female will enjoy a quiet pint in a decent pub whilst all you males sit at home moaning on an internet forum!
