i disagree london28. before the current landlord took over the place was full of yobs who didn't buy drinks, only played pool, boy racers who compared cars in the car park and intimidated people.

the fox is now a friendly family pub, with rock/pop covers bands at weekends. sundays there's normally traditional irish band after dinner which is good fun. delicious carvery on a sunday and yum thai food during the week. GAA, footie and rugby shown on plasma screens dotted around the pub.

its where i'll be st patrick's day!

In total agreement with all the comments below. Seemed as though the old clientele were youngsters who drove their flash cars down there, didn't drink and were just looking for a row - a lot of people stopped drinking there including myself for that exact reason.

Now under new management and should be opening in the next week or two. Should have been opening tonight (15/7) but due to some last minute hitches, unfortunately this has been postponed.

A little birdie tells me the new landlord has got rid of the pool tables and it should be more family orientated with good food and live music at weekends.
