Arcadia Ale and Wine Bar, Headingley

3 Years since my last review so here's an update:

Still a great selection of real ales and continental beers to tempt the connoisseur, ranging in ABV from less the 4 to 10.5; all kept well and served by friendly staff.
Free daily papers, books and games are available if you want to entertain yourselves whilst sampling the delights on offer and if you want to use your laptop, there is free wi-fi too.
Possible expansion into next door, if the license is granted, which will provide more seating and a disabled loo. (summer 2009)

Arcadia Ale and Wine Bar, Headingley

An oasis of real ale, NO SMOKING, no bandits and no kids where dogs are welcome. As a local resident, I was pleased when this small bar opened; It serves a small but very tasty menue up to 8pm.
Could do with some soft furnishings to deaden the sound.

Fancy dress is not allowed so misses a lot of the looney students on the Run; Hooray!

It would only appear "stuck up" to people who like/are used to noisy, student, keg pubs; each to their own, I say.
