I am the chef at The White Hart Public House, I cater for authentic traditional pub food and also some fine dining and also I have incorporated Game to my menu. It is a very old building that was once a brewery and dates back to the 15C. Our customers have a tendency to be all locals, but would like to see a new breed of clientele visiting us with our wide range of cask ales, lager and our new menu, which i the Chef incorporate fresh daily specials and locally caught game.

White Hart, Old Woking
I am the new chef at The White Hart Public House in Old Woking. We cater for the local customers and we wish to extend our cooking to other areas and so I cook traditional pub food, plus a little bit of Fine Dining and now we have been lucky enough to have been able to put fresh locally caught game on our menu. Alot of our fresh ingredients are brought in by our regular customers and our suppliers are small run family businesses. i am trying to make a change to the food and bring the cuisine up to date and present the food in a way that is most appetising. The Special's board are changed almost twice a week and all the food is homemade and made and invented onsite. The White Hart was a brewery in and around the 16thC, we hold a lot of history and once you enter the building, you will realise that for yourself, from Jacobean beams to flagstone flooring in the cellar(if your lucky enough to catch a glimpse) and dated Inglenook fireplaces that are alight in the cold winter months. We offer an extensive priced menu and a very warm welcome.
