Decor nothing special , beer not too bad . One redeeming grace however are the filled rolls , not only are they good value , but they
are really tasty and wholesome , worth a visit just for the rolls.

The Black Lion, Epping

We called into this pub on the Sunday before Christmas not only were the staff welcoming , and the beer excellent . There was a wonderful log fire roaring in the grate. The icing on the cake was that there were roast potatoes and mince pies free and gratis on the bar. This made for a splendid afternoon in very convivial surroundings . A great pub and I only wish i lived nearer. however given the chance I shall certainly return.

The Old Kings Head, Borough

Whilst I thoroughly agree with the comments of nincompoop regading
the beer and the staff in this pub , i have to take issue with the
comments about the guv'nor . The man could win prizes for being
miserable . They have even got a plaque above the bar stating that
the bartender is a miserable old git. I rest my case
