The Lord Nelson has now reopened after an extensive renovation by its new owners as:

The Lord Nelson Coffee House & Tea Room, by day

The Lord Nelson Ale House & Restaurant, by night

The Lord Nelson offers a large range of coffees, teas, wines and ciders at fantastic prices. It also ranges a minimum of 5 draught ales with a good supporting range of bottled ales to compliment and speaking here as a keener Coffee drinker I am happy to report that people are welcome to drink tea and coffee as equally as ales and wines.

The kitchens are not due to open till April ish but promise to be something special fresh home made, locally sourced food.

The renovation work is fantastic and should be seen to be believed, if anybody was familiar with the old dirty pub that once stood here. You should take a look the new owners have created a new bright and clean haven for the community and visitors.
