The Blue Anchor, Reigate

The last two posts by two (?) people who joined the site today - are rubbish - made by staff members or their mates. An old trick!

'Attitude' should book into the local Home for the Bewildered, just up the road.

Blue Anchor is still run by a holding company - has been for years (after several bankrupcies); why then the recent massive change since the last 'management' left just 2 weeks ago ?

Us at the Bulls Head have had such a laugh...... Thanks.

The Blue Anchor, Reigate

In the long life a pub, there comes a time when it reaches a crossroads; the Blue Anchor has arrived.

This is when - after a long period (years) of poor management, nil investment and tansient/indifferent staff - it is clear that the 'business' is not capable of being saved or being traded up to normality. The Blue Anchor is at this point, yet again.

Unless capital is injected and high calibre staff/management are recruited - there is no real future. The new Kent management are clueless and - apart from being on the Reigate weekend pub crawl route - this pub has very little to offer.

As said before, the capital or competant staff will not arrive - and the place will surely fail permanently. Not far away, the same could be said of the Red Cross - run by the same company of also rans.
