The Dog and Partridge, Woodhouses
Visited on a Sat afternoon, very relaxed atmosphere, recently refurbished in a very tasteful fashion. Marstons on good form. Food was very good value for money and at top end of range for Pub food. Children welcome and had a great time. Would definitely visit again and hope that I am not driving next time I go there.

It feels a bit small because it is always busy with quiet, pleasant, friendly locals that were easy to have a chat with. Dogs are allowed in the bar area but not in the lounge. Good range of beers with a high turnover of barrels - has CAMRA awards on the walls from the last few years. Sorry to eddygilroy ( his post may have been removed by the time you read this) about losing your job - I dont think that you were in the best frame of mind for writing a pub review and I hope things turn around for you. Next time I am visiting the area this will be the place I visit.

The Barrowboy and Banker, London Bridge
A very pleasant experience at the end of a day of sightseeing - Pride 3.40 a pint , seems to carry pretty much the whole range of Fullers. Food very good, most mains 9 , puddings 4, good kids menu. Downstairs was busy but upstairs very relaxed. Bar staff very helpful and friendly - will definitely be going here again next trip near London Bridge. Blurb in the menu said this was the first ever branch of Nat West bank.
