The Sir John Barleycorn, Cadnam

I used to visit the Sir John Barleycorn a lot going back five or six years ago at least once a week, but stopped going for one reason or another. But recently we decided to go back to the pub. What a shock we had.
� On arriving early Saturday evening the gravel car park was filled with six badly parked cars, so we had to park and unload our young family in the road. I know this is a minor point but if the car park was better used I�m sure it would attract more families.
� To gain access to the pub we had to walk passed all the smokes stood outside the only entrance. I�m sure this is the same for most pubs but to create a simple smoking area away from the only entrance wouldn�t take much.
� On requesting a highchair I was told they are stored in the disabled toilet, which I was shocked as my young child was expected to eat there dinner of it. I asked if the crockery was stored in the gents, but no one understood the comment.
� My wife�s drink was below the line on the glass, and the glass had lipstick on it.
� The fish cakes came out cold.
� Another table next to us complained about there dessert, they were offered a refund but the member of staff bought the refund slammed it down on the table and walked off without a word.
I don�t want to seem like I�m being unfair, but as I said I used to visit regularly but now with a family I will not be returning.
