The Bobbin, Clapham

I used to really like the Tim Bobbins. Had a few delicious roasts there on a Sunday.

So yesterday went there yesterday for a mates birthday...because I had recommended it.

I ordered the chicken roast. When it arrived....very sqiftly....there was hardly any chicken, two tiny burnt potatoes, 1 very burnt yorkshire pud, two pieces of vegetables... I was so annoyed and dissapointed as I was hungry and the servings used to be more generous than that. Anyway... it gets worse. I finally managed to get a piece of chicken off of the bone (the meat wasn't falling off the bone) and it was very pink and bloody! I took it back and asked for another one.

Waited for 30 mins.

Got the second plate. Mates told me to check the chicken first. Cut into it blood came squirting out of it!!!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes.

Of course the waitress / waiter's we're really nice and apologetic. I got my money back and starved....and didn't want to eat anything from there. Other people had ordered burgers, fish and chips and they were also dissapointed as the chips were burnt. Just wasn't that great.

The waitress offered to give me a glass of wine for free...which I took.

I will NEVER EVER be eating here again.

They need to sack the chef....and sort it out otherwise they are quickly going to lose custom.
