The Cittie of Yorke, Holborn

A superb pub. Great beer (OB and the stout for us ale heads, and good lager for those who like a more fizzy brew).

Been drinking here on and off since 1991 - used to work for British Gas over the road so this was my 'local'. Not changed much over the years but this is no bad thing (apart from they no longer serve Museum bitter on tap - shame).

Drank there on 10th Nov after work - oh the memories!!

The Lamb Tavern, Leadenhall Market

The best drinking place in the City. Great location, great beer, and they've even sorted the gents loos out.

My wife loves it too. It's a pub for male and female (unlike the Moon which is strictly an Essex boys pub, and don't get me on the Cross Keys and its clients!!)

Ship, Monument

Been drinking here loads of times and never had bad service or a bad pint.

Staff have always been friendly so maybe there was something more to poster of 13th Oct!
