The Atlas, West Brompton

I am a local and this has been my favourite London pub ever since I first walked in through the door some years ago. Friendly staff, relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, well-kept ales, fairly priced drinks, very good food (but still a pub where you can easily get a table if you just want to have a drink), and slightly out of the way so that it doesn't get too crowded (except on Chelsea match days and after the bigger Earls Court shows). Also has two excellent upstairs rooms which we have hired for a number of great parties: �120 deposit returned if you hit the minimum spend (which is set at a level which makes it easy enough to do), extra �50 for the late licence. Highly recommended.
