Great pub with new owners and chef. They have put the bar back in so you can go for a drink in front of a real log fire if that's alll you want to do. BUT the food is fantastic. I've eaten there a couple of times since it reopened last November and it is top notch - especially the homemade pies and the puds are to die for (go for the choclate brownie with peanut butter ice cream)!
