The Star Inn, Netherton

The Star inn was refurbished to a very high standard about 12 month ago.Complete with coal fires in every room and decorated in the heritage colours of years gone by.Your hosts Andy and Sarah are extremely welcoming .The pub is owned by Sam Smiths so the prices are very competitive.There is ample parking and a very large bear garden to the rear.Plenty of room for the children to bring a football or cricket bat or just run some energy off.Children are only allowed in the pub aged 14 or over.Opening hours are Monday to Wednesday 12 till 4.Then 7 till 11.Thursday to Sunday 12 till closing.

The Horse and Jockey has now been fully refurbished with new licensee Paul and doing the home cooking is his wife Pauline.The pub has a homely and welcoming feel with an open coal fire and traditional home cooked food every lunchtime.Mon to sat 12-2.30 and Sun 12 -4.00.The games room consists of a dart board and pool table and also a very large flat screen tv for when premiership matches,horse racing,rugby etc are on while the separate lounge area has background music and a welcoming feel.If you wish to book a table for lunch the number is 01924272744.Hand cask beer is available and as the pub is now a free house prices are competive.
