The Pheasant, Wednesfield

This pub has been open for a month or two know,but I cant see it opening for long. This once thriving , cheap, party vibe public house is know a over priced, cold and empty former shell of itself, and its ashame. The problem with this pub is that it has left its former (and quite good) identity in the past but has not really found another one. It is located between a small, friendly, knees up mother brown pub ( the noahs) and a cheap food, cheap drink, sport viewing familyish, entertainment pub (the red lion) and it dosent know which one to compete with. Its drinks are to expensive, it has no real menu and dosent open till the evenings during the week. Lets see how it is in another few months!

The Pool Hayes, Willenhall

Its the second time ive been to this pub in the last couple of months and again it was GREAT! Excellent food, i had the mixed grill, the wife had a chicken tikka massala. Got ourselves non restricted view seats and table to watch the sunday footy game. The beer was resonabley priced. A nice place to chill, eat and drink for a few hours
