The Fox and Pheasant, Fulham

This pub is a throwback to another age. It's got a real old world charm (no juke box or primary colours), and Ben the landlord knows how to look after a beer cellar - it's always a good pint. However, balance that against the attitude of the staff which is simply atrocious. The landlord has a very short temper and frequently has blazing rows with customers in front of a horrified clientele, and one of the bar staff had a fist fight with one of the regulars last week! Net result is most of the previous regulars drink in the Pelican or the Butcher's Hook these days, and this pub - which could be a goldmine - is often empty.
