The Springhead, Sutton Poyntz

My wife and I visited this pub for an evening meal on a Friday evening. It was disgusting. We entered a very dingy scruffy and cold pub. Some of the furniture was falling apart. The only man who seemed to be in charge took our order and informed us that chef had not arrived. We decided to wait, but other people who arrived with us took the better option and left. We wish we had. The food(?) arrived about an hour and a half later. It was awful, some of it burnt and some of it cold and inedible. The staff were not in the least interested in looking after their customers and seemed oblivious to anything but themselves. The location makes this pub popular but nothing else. Gordon Ramsay, we have found for you the ultimate challenge, but I fear that even you would fail. I hope this review is posted and not dumped in favour of better reviews because the pub is not worth it. Absolutley appalling.
