The Plough Inn, Tiptoe

Really wanted to like this pub it's local to where we stay. On a summer lunchtime the carpark was almost empty - I felt it was probably going to be bad, but sadly didn't trust my instinct. The food was very disappointing, Toad-in-the-hole made with potato flakes and not the'locally produced sausages' promised on the menu, I'd recognise those Walls style bangers anywhere. The lasagne had no bechemal sauce at all and was luke warm. The accompanying salad was unbelievable! I had a mouldy sculpted radish, blackened with new shoots growing out of it as it was so antiquated (think of the impications - plate to plate type thing), on top of withered browned leaves!! Loos absolutely filthy too. They need a visit from Gordon Ramsay big time!!
