The Royal Oak, Brockham

I had a christmas meal at the Royal Oak last night, was greeted by friendly staff and were taken to our prepared table. We had pre-booked and ordered our meals. We sat down to the table, which was laid excellently with crackers, different coloured tissues, christmas flowers and plants, candles and in a lovely atmosphere where me and all my friends could relax. I had my starter, Prawn Cocktail (which was excellent and beautifully presented) followed by roast turkey with pots, gravy, sprouts, carrots, excellent stuffing and presented fantastically. My dessert was a cheese board, very beautifully presented. And followed by Mince Pies, all the meals were homemade and tasted fantastically. If i had to be critical, the mince pies were not homemade but the other 3 courses made up for that. The Service was excellent and it was fantastic value. All 3 courses and Mince Pies for �20pp but i am not sure if this is just because we booked the xmas menu. IM IN THE PROCESS OF TELLING ALL MY CLOSE FRIENDS!! Excellent homemade food, service, value and setting. Thank you to all the staff at the Royal Oak, you made it special!
