The Bridge Bar, Beckenham

What a come down for this place, 3 months ago I went there with 2 guys & 3 girls, all ranging from 35 to 43 & very well dressed, we were turned away because my black friend was wearing brand new Timberland boots! Then last weekend I went down there after Rascasse with 3 guys, again smartly dressed, yet again we were turned away, why? Because I was the only one wearing a 'collar', what a load of crap, we were informed it had been in force for a few weeks, "Collars only lads" is what baldy fat bloke on the door muttered! Well cant you give people a little grace in these matters, wasnt it noted that some of us may have been wearing a t-shirt, but an Armani suit over the top as well! Had we all turned up in dog collars would that have gained us entry!? We are all in �40k + jobs, we never go out without �300 in our wallets, and these muppets turn us away! Do they think that a 'collar' will subdue a persons temper or anger if the wrong guy should look at his Barbie girlfriend? Think again Bridge Bar, you have just lost 6 of your customers, and a few more to follow once I put the word around. You are better of going to Blackheath, no such nonsense there!
