The King William IV, Hampstead
It was 10pm on a Saturday night (01.2007) quite busy .. bar service great ... but , oh dear, apart from the bar staff, most of the people there were straight couples !!! This did not feel like a gay pub at all. Have the gay clientele deserted KW ? Maybe its to do with the new decor and harsh lighting ... or to do with the music turned up so loud you can not have a conversation with your friend who is just two feet away. We drank up and left ...
