The Green Man, Lidlington

A great traditional village pub that can cater for locals and visitors alike.
When tourists think about a typical english village pub they could be describing the Greene Man with its attractive thatch and beams. Now being run by Phil and Geina whose concept of a traditional village inn give hope to all those who want to see something different to the trend of "gastropubs" or closing as the only future for the village pub!
Highly recommended and close to a rail station (unfortunately that service cannot be recommended).
Let's get behind out village pub and visit at least once a week!

The Swan Inn, Cranfield

Well run local with options for traditional and Thai food (All home cooked and well served).
A great innovation is the take-away food option which is ideal for locals. Average time for a home cooked green curry is two pints of guiness!
Warm welcome and efficient service make this an easy place to reccomend.
