The White Hart, Sherborne

This is a good eating pub, 2 courses at lunch time for �6.95, menu changes regularly, offers always on, friendly staff, evenings just as good and if you have large party going the chef will consult with you over the menu. A month ago I was part of a party of 16, could not find fault anywhere.

Rose & Crown, Longburton

Last time we visited this pub the landlords were very inhospitable so we went when we heard new ones had arrived. The new decor is great, really back to 'country pub' feel. Everyone friendly and keen to make sure you are happy. Food was good. Nice atmosphere and plenty of people around.
