The Blacksmiths Arms, Adversane

in reference to the comments made about the Blacksmiths Arms in Janurary by Peaches 123,the comments are totaly in-accurate in reference to the incident in question at our restaurant,the main issue the people had was that we would not give a concession for the kids meals before they ordered,we are a carvery based operation therefore when children come to the carvery we charge for the size of the portion as in the past we have given concessions and people have loaded the plates up with double the portions and we have lost out on not just the money factor but also the poential extra custom,the lady never explained that she had 4 kids coming there fore we did not know we had to accomadate for children and also a gluton free meal aswell,i am in the business for over 20 years and have never had such negative feed back in my life,the lady never asked for chips,she never said she had 4 children or a gluton problem therefore how she can complain is beyond me,we feed an average of 160 people on a sunday lunch ranging from children to Oap,and most of our business is repeat business,i challenge anyone to come and sample not just our menu but also our hospitality and homely set up,
