The Bulls Head, Burslem

A brilliant town pub; excellent selection of their own beers plus wide range of guest beers. Locals are all very friendly and if you've never been in here before there's no concerns, you'll feel like a long lost friend in no time. Dogs, provided they're well behaved, are always welcome. What are you waiting for - try "Legend" it's superb, but it's only available (I think!) on Port Vale home match days.

The Ferry Inn, Cawood

A brilliant country pub. Excellent food, at least 6 well kept cask beers and an imaginative menu year round - nice one Pascal! Everyone welcome, including children and dogs. Lovely garden when not under water!! Best to book a table if you want to eat at busy times though service is always speedy.
