As mentioned previously, I think there may well be a stigma attached to this establishment which for any business in the service industry is hard to break, however, most of the reviews since the changeover of ownership seem positive. I believe that this is testament to what is becoming one of the better places to frequent in the local area. I also travel at least five miles to drink at the 'Olde Swan' and have had no complaints with service, product quality or the atmosphere, if anything the new management have succesfully attempted to alter the what had become a desolate drinking hole into a vibrant, prefessional and warm environment to spend a few hours (or sometimes the whole evening!). Previous reveiwers may well have been going to the wrong pub!
