The Old Farmhouse, Nailsea

Lovely pub, but only if you are prepared to accept small children running around the pub making a noise. I am very happy to have children in pubs � I am a parent myself � but only as long as they do not disturb other guests. Unfortunately my experience at this local pub was disturbed not only by a very noisy child, but also by his father who did not seem to appreciate that everyone who visits the pub is entitled to enjoy themselves, not just his family. It was even more unfortunate that the manager agreed with the father, even though it was contrary to a previous conversation we had had with the licensee on another occasion. As far as we are concerned, definitely a place to be avoided � shame, as the location and the pub itself are lovely.
