Of the several Ember Inns in the area, this one comes bottom. Unattentive staff, poorly kept beer and a weekend atmosphere ruined by groups of posers fuelling up for a trip to the casino.

The Hammer and Pincers, Sheffield

The beer garden and cask marque plaque gave me a good indication that I would like this pub, and I wasn't disappointed. We've been a few times now and always enjoy ourselves. There's always a nice selection of cask ales (Pedigree being my favourite) and the staff seem to know what they're talking about, which makes a change from most pubs! Highly recommended.
