Landlord, landlady, family, staff, locals, and those who are not locals.
Always welcoming, friendly, warm, full of wry humour.
Some nights full of contract workers, others locals, others off duty coppas
Always, always good atmosphere.
The pub is situated on the route to the city centre, so you can imagine how fruity it could get on a weekend.! The staff are so skilled, they retain a freindly, rural type feel, even when heaving full of drunken silly buggers.

the guys running this place, could make a pub in the middle of manchester warm, welcoming, fantastic.
They could make a place in the highlands just as succesful!!
Characters behind the bar, characters in front,
You are always made welcome and always made to feel like a local, even if your not!
I roll up every now and then on my own, on a motorbike, lone female,!!!!!! I always walk away a happier person
