The Cross Keys, Hammersmith

Shame that since it changed hands it has gone downhill in beer quality and customer service. Annoyingly the same locals still crowd the bar making it a struggle to order. Got served a cloudy and bad pint of Pride. I took it back. Petulant landlord popped to the cellar for 30 seconds, claimed he'd changed the barrel and drew another pint from the same pump with the same result. I left it on the table, untouched.

The Hammersmith Ram, Hammersmith

Not bad, but used to be better. Good ale mostly (result of Young's merger and change of landlord). Good, troublefree pub with a nice mix of clientele. A place for friends to meet, eat and drink. Drinks a tad more expensive, presumably to deter the Wetherpoons drunks.

Latymers, Hammersmith

Awful place. Real ale pub destroyed by soulless decor, indifferent staff and equally indifferently kept beer. Comment by anonymous 14 Apr 2005 doesn't surprise me.
