The Devon Arms, Torquay

The landlady of the pub was very aggressive when i entered the bar. I asked for a large glass of the house white wine to which she replied 'We don't sell that, i suggest you try the ponces bar up the road' to which the locals erupted into laughter. I asked for an alternative which was a glass of sherry, she then asked me to laugh. The bar as well was full of chavs and the people outside, who appeared like they have just come back from the a drug rehabilitation center, were smoking marijuana and swearing. Go next door to the Hole In The Wall, it's a much nicer pub.

Clipper Inn, Torquay

Verp expensive drinks (£3+ for a pint) very small pub, no songs worth playing on the jukebox, landlord is rude and aggressive and verging on homophobic, the old man with the white beard behind the bar didn't have a good thing to say about anyone when he was discussing the local punters with his friend. I would never go back in there. If your gay, black, or any other ethnic origin avoid like the plague.
