The British Queen, Shepherds Bush

Came in about 10 on a friday night, sort of pub that you get a few looks when you walk in if you are not a regular, if you know what I mean. After that initial bit, it is a typical no-nonsense local, lots of different characters around, would recommend a visit if that is what you are after. Not my usual sort of boozer, but I liked the place - try it if you are down the Uxbridge road!

The Defector's Weld, Shepherds Bush

Waiting for someone, so popped in here for a pint about 3 on a friday afternoon. Friendly service, clientele a variety of types from students, girls sharing bottles of wine to old blokes propping up the bar. Not a bad place to kill a bit of time during the day I suppose.
