The Spyglass and Kettle, Southbourne

Visited the pub on a Friday night recently. Good selection of ales. Very mixed crowd. Including a few familiar faces from the now demolished Grange, just up the road. Excellent atmosphere. The place was definitely buzzing. And to top it all, live music from Firebird. The pub has a small slightly raised dancefloor and Firebird must have been doing something right because it wasn't too long before before bodies were gyrating. Look forward to the next appearence of this particular band. Nice to know that when they demolished the Grange they didn't manage to drive live music away from Southbourne Overcliff. I understand there will be live music every Friday and Saturday fom now on at the S & K. Nice one.
