The Anchor, Ripley

AVOID - 29th June 2013 approx. 8pm. Sign outside advertised 'real ales' but inside the only things on tap were lagers (seeming to cater for the group of loud male 'locals' dominating the bar). After opting for a bottle of white wine instead we were told that our choice from the wine list wasn't available, but an alternative was suggested - but it was warm. They didn't have any chilled wine . It's incredulous to believe that a pub can operate on the 'Fawlty Towers' business model in 2013. I can't see this place keeping its doors open for too long.
