Weve heard rumours that the pub has been sold to Food pub chain i.e. Beefeater. I would be a great shame as Petts Wood has 21 Restuarants allready Its nice to have a "PUB"

Coach and Horses, Appledore

Found it to be the best pub as didnt sell food Just beer Although they have plans for ploughmans lunches in the future. "Proper job" job went down nicely. The couple who run the pub were very friendly The landlord looks the part too !! made our holiday to Appledore mor enjoyable. Needs a lick of paint but your going there for a pint

The Beaver Inn, Appledore

On holiday last week Thought we would have a meal as had a good review. Menu looked good as chief had 10 years experience.We arrived at 7PM one table left so thought were lucky. The first few requests for wine were out of stock The pork medalions were sent back twice as center was still raw, My daughters beans on toast burnt on underside, wifes tagliatelle was brown with tinned sweetcorn. We complained the pork was taken of the bill it wasnt eaten, The young staff serving food were trying their best but admitted the chief couldn't cope
