The Harbour Inn, Axmouth

Visted the Harbour in Sept - not disappointed then Returned to see the famous burning of the Ashen Faggot on Xmas Eve. What a brillient evening had by all. A traditional xmas eve, great atmosphere, locals carrying out the traditional Ashen Faggot ways, roaring fire, carols sung accompanied by a flutest, mince pies, sausage rolls and great beers. No wonder it was wall to wall with people. Mark this event on next years calender, not to be missed. Well done to all involved in making it a great night.

Bank Holiday Wkend - Appearance & Ombience Good - Needs To Decide If Its A Pub/Restuarant or Gastro????? - Bar Staff Service Could Be Better Not Welcoming - Food Generally Ok But Very Expensive - Portion Size Minimal - Waiting Service Poor - Kept Waiting Between Courses - No Reasons Not Over Busy - Thought We Had Been Forgotton - Wines Choices Good But Pricey - Overal Impression - Wouldn't Go Back - Sorry
