The Noughts and Crosses, Polperro

Stayed in Polperro for a week in February 2008. Did our usual tour of all the pubs on arrival and finished off in the Naughts. This was by far the friendliest pub in Polperro. Lee (the landlord) couldn�t do enough for us, a genuinely friendly and all round nice chap. He is a Southampton FC fan but you can�t hold that one against him! Lee and his wife have been running the pub since May�07 and they are doing a fine job! The staff and locals are friendly too.

The food was superb and well priced, we ate here 5 nights out of the 7 we stayed. The beer was well kept and of an even price with all the other pubs locally. Also the jukebox is excellent, you can pick any tune ever released going right back to 1952! We had great fun playing the number 1�s from our birthdays and amazing ourselves finding the most obscure tunes!!

Seriously, if you want a good night out and some quality food don�t miss this place! We even asked to have the mighty Spurs on TV one of the evenings and Lee couldn�t be happier to oblige! It was great to have a �local� whilst on holiday. We will certainly return again, be sure to go yourself!!
