The Sun Inn, Waterbeach

A real community pub with weekly quiz nights and regular music, comedy and other performance events. The yearly beer festival is well worth attending.

Beer selection is limited due to the small cellar but four real ales are usually available and kept to the highest standards, earning the pub repeated mentions in the Good Beer guide for the past few years. All this plus good traditional food, friendly landlord and landlady. They also have two lovely pub dogs that will be your best friend for the price of a few crisps. Worth hopping on a train for a visit!

The Organ Grinder, Loughborough

Great pub, good atmosphere, friendly locals and well kept beer. Large range of Blue Monkey brews available (as you'd expect) and always a couple of guest ales on that change very regularly.

A nice range of good quality lagers on tap plus a very nice selection of European and American bottled beer round off the collection. Topping that is a small but good quality selection of single malts.

A good honest drinker's pub. Well worth a visit.
