The Perseverance, Wraysbury

Contrary to the opinion of others on this website the pub is very good. I was most impressed with the barman who was quite elegant in the way that he poured a pint, it was almost as if 'bitter ale' should change its name to 'sweet ale' because I have never been poured such a beautiful pint. I attempted to buy him a drink because of this, but he politely asked if he could put the money in the tip jar as he wasn't a big drinker. A true gentleman. The only thing I could say against the pub was the lack of a pool table, but the barman reassured me that one would be put in over the next couple of years.

Absolute gem of a pub.
