The Globe Hotel, Glossop

Went back again one evening for a chilli. Food is excellent and very cheap as usual. However the beer was a big let down still with revolting after taste.
It's out of the good beer guide which is only right, as entries are supposed to be consistent in their good beer which this place is most cetainly not. I can only hope they improve as they are losing business because of it.

As a devoted carnivore I was amazed how nice the vegan food here is very filling and very cheap.

The beer is nearly all brewed in house as they don't seem to do much beer swapping anymore.

I've been very disappointed lately in the beer I don't know whats going on with it quite a few of them seem to leave a fairly nasty after taste. Left after just a couple of pints last time as it just wasn't nice. Landlord need to go and get some tips from the Howard town brewery guys as they are fantastic at it.
