The Sussex Barn, Horsham

This pub is fantastic. This pub is home to some local people who are regularly there because of the staff as they say the Sussex Barn staff are the friendliest around. Also the Sussex Barn has regular diners who say the food is wonderful and good value for money. The waiting time on food has dropped dramatically to just an average of 15 minutes (depending on the type of food ordered). The staff are excellent and attentive to your every need. They will do what ever they can to make your stay more enjoyable. For example they will put what ever sport on for the type of customers in the pub.

The food is very good value for money and the chefs are excellent too. The management work very hard although the manager is not always seen in the Sussex Barn, the manager is always working very hard behind the scenes to keep the Sussex Barn running, which the customers do not always see.

Now for the staff Issue. The Sussex Barn Staff are so sorry to make you wait (if you have to) at any time of your stay because they can not be everywhere at once. Also the wage paercentage from Spirit Group limited prevents the Sussex Barn from having three maybe four members of staff at any one time.

So for all those people who have a negative feel about the Sussex Barn then please may i ask you to return for one last visit and see for yourself if you have seen any improvemnents. Whether it be on the service, food or drink. From our last previous stay the meal deal is now two for 10 pounds and is exteneded an extra day to friday.
