The Running Horse Inn, New Alresford

On a recent visit to my aunts i suggested that we'd go out for lunch/dinner as i'd noticed a nicely presented pub on my way through to see her.

On arrival we were greated by friendly and well dressed staff who were only too happy to offer us drinks and see us through to the resturant side of the pub.

The decor and lay out was warm and inviting and the freshly cut flowers gave the room a nice finishing touch.

Specials were explained and easily seen on the board.
While we were waiting for our starters, we decided to have a bottle of wine. There were many to choose from, all of which were affordable.

Starters came out and i was amazed at the quality and presentation. They tasted just as good as they looked!

Another glass of wine and the main came. Lovely, well presented and tasted great too. Vegetables were cooked to perfection and the meat melted in the mouth.

I was too full for dessert but my aunt managed to squeeze one in! She told me that it was 'delicious'

Coffee to follow which came in you very own cafetiere, nicley presented on a nice tray with cream and brown sugar.

All in all an extreamly lovley lunch, very well mannered staff and friendly atmosphere.

Would recommend to everyone looking for great tasting affordable food with friendly atmosphere.

Its taken me many years of dining out to give a 10 out of 10 but you guys deserve it.
