The Brixton Bar and Grill, Brixton

What can I say - definatly the best bar in brixton (in my opinion)!!!!!!!!!

If you want a grungy traditional brixton scene don't bother - if you want the friendliest bar staff, very good tapas - excellent drinks menu plus professional cocktial bar staff you've come to the right place!!

excelent tunes and the best atmosphere of any bar in south london! Prices are average �3 a pint �5 to �7 for tapas - the wine list is good though it could be a little more varied!

I come here every week, there's no point in going anywhere else cos i won't be as good!

The Poet Bar, Liverpool St

Went there most friday lunch times over the summer - the courtyard out the back traps the sun and it's pretty nice to smell your steak sizzling away on the BBQ. Drinks are averagly priced for the area though lacking in choice for bitter drinkers. The wine is also limited. The interior is... well.. I supose contemporary but could do with a little attention - most of the staff are great and work hard. The managers customer service is a bit of a let down and quite confrontational.
Great in summer - Drab in winter
