The Barley Mow, Cox Green
The Barley mow is a peaceful little country pub in the fruitful town of Maidenhead.
After a blissful walk sight seeing we stumbled upon this beautiful gem in the heart of the historic cox green area. The pub was mainly occupied buy groups of friendly young women and we was made very comfortable.
Then "they" arrived.
The calm paradise was suddenly infiltrated by an army that can only be described with two words... Prolific Geezers.
Some scrambled for saftey amongst the battlefield of beer, chanting and banter, others were not so lucky. Upon my eyes i witnessed men dive through mountains of wotsits and seas of jager bombs. The local animal known as Jesus stole my woman, a nutcase named wheeler hijacked the jukebox and bled my ears with oasis.
Fending for my life i managed to crawl outside to safety into the loving strong arms of a lady named Ruth who helped me escape. Down the road i met a quivering group of boys who called themselves magpies. they had been banished from the Barley and told me if i wanted a safe night i should have gone to the Thached cottage.
The unspeakable events that take place in the notorious Barley mow may haunt me for my remaining days. If you have the bravery and liver then enter at your own peril, for this pub belongs to the Barley Army who will stand their ground.
