A typical C&B chain pub - microwaved and deep-fried food and an appalling lack of imagination when it comes to beers - Directors and Old Speckled Hen ! Worth avoiding really.

The William Bray , Shere Guildford Surrey

Take a full wallet before venturing in - cheese sandwich £5.60, shot of gin over £4. This is pricy even by Surrey standards. During a half-term holiday visit, the place was heaving with young families and dogs. Food servie slow as kitchen can't cope with covers, and one dessert was forgotten.
